IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR MEDIA DRIVES
It has been announced that all Macintosh HD drives across the school will be wiped in a school-wide format update killing spree of info and whatever. In layman’s terms, anything you have on individual accounts will be gone. Boom. Nada. Zip. Finito. I’m fuzzy on details, but its all in the name of performance and updates. Bleh.
For us media kids, this means that any sound files, pictures, storyboards, etc, that are on personal drives (accounts, Macintosh HD drives, etc) will be gone by the beginning of next week. We have a shaky promsie from Smithy that the Media drives should be left alone, so it is a priority that everything on the drives that is media-related (or at least, related to the project) is put on our external hard drive so it is not completely owned by the school wide wipe. It’s in bold for a reason, guys. It needs to be done at some point over the next few days.
